I am taking a holiday from Folksy. I may be back - watch this space!

Returning to Yorkshire from a brief visit to the Peak District we stopped for lunch and discovered these twisted ancient oaks, a gorge and tumbling waterfalls in the the National Trust Longshaw estate. I captured some great images with my camera because I knew I would have to paint these trees. It was a magical place and one day I will return for further exploration.
