"Roseira" in a bold pink rose print is a sleeveless sundress with a slightly scooped round neckline and round back. Its full skirt, drawn in at the back with a big bow from the waist ties, and fitted bodice makes it perfect for a summer wedding, or for bringing some summery vintage flair to town.

The bodice is fully lined and with soft princess seams, and the skirt is big and gathered at the waist. The dress has a back closure of a concealed zip. As with all my garments, this dress has in-seam pockets!

This Roseira’s fabric is a medium weight quality 100% cotton, with a beautiful and vibrant pink rose floral print. This dress can be made in other fabrics too, please send me a message if you'd like it made in any of my other fabrics.

The skirt is around 65cm from waist to hem, the skirt is designed to sit just above the knee. The skirt can be made longer or shorter - please feel free to get in touch.

The Roseira is designed to be close fitting and flattering on top, the bodice sits on the waist and the big skirt is gathered and flares freely over the hips. Made from cotton, it isn't stretchy, but I do try and make all my garments a comfortable fit.

When I was getting married, I was so uninspired by the choice of bridesmaid dresses, as were my two bridesmaids. I disliked the "5 way" dresses, the identical floor length polyester horrors, and the hideous pastel colours that suit very few complexions. I was after something vibrant, floral and a bit vintage looking. The two dresses I chose were simple sundresses with big skirts, made from different shades of blue Liberty fabrics. They looked amazing, and I wanted to create something equally as amazing for my collection. This vibrant pink rose print is perfect for a summer wedding I think, and the simple design is bold and classic. It's one of a few designs I have for sale that would pair beautifully for bridesmaids, and it's a shape and length that's a bit different for a wedding, a bit more 1940s inspired (my grandmothers were both married in knee length skirts). That's not to say it's just for weddings, I wear mine everywhere!
