"Oliveira" is a sleeveless a-line babydoll dress, designed to be simple and flattering, with a high waistline and spacious skirt. Made from a soft and lightweight cotton, it’s perfect for comfort in hot summer days.

The bodice is fully lined and with front and back darts, and the skirt is gathered at the high waist, which sits just under the bust. The dress has a back closure of a concealed zip. As with all my garments, this dress has in-seam pockets!

The Oliveira's fabric is a beautifully soft, light and very comfortable 100% cotton lawn. This dress can be made in other fabrics too, please send me a message if you'd like it made in any of my other fabrics.

THe skirt is around 65cm long from waist to hem, the skirt is designed to sit just above the knee. The skirt can be made longer or shorter - please feel free to get in touch.

SIZES
The Oliveira is designed to be modestly fitting on the bodice, and the skirt flares slightly, allowing it to fall freely over the waist and hips. Made from cotton, it isn't too stretchy, but I do try and make all my garments a comfortable fit.

8 - bust 84cm - waist 64cm
10 - bust 88cm - waist 68cm
12 - bust 92cm - waist 72cm
14 - bust 97cm - waist 77cm

Having not been initially sure about the colours of this fabric, I'm so pleased I chose it. With the bright orange and royal blue ditsy flowers, it's a bit different from normal florals, but I think it's beautiful. As a cotton lawn, it's light, incredibly soft to the touch, and super comfortable to wear - perfect for a sundress! This dress' design takes inspiration from the 1960s' babydoll outfits. With a high waistline, they're really comfortable and totally unique compared to classic cuts. I'm always wearing my Oliveira on summer days, around the house and town; sometimes I pair it with the Acorn jacket too if it's a bit chilly or if I want to switch my look up a bit!
