"Limoeiro" is a sleeveless sundress with a sweetheart neckline and a gathered elasticated back, made in a ditsy floral print. It has a button down front and tied spaghetti straps. Its gathered skirt is slimline yet floaty, but coupled with a fitted bodice and soft fabric, it’s perfect for summer days.

The bodice is fully lined with princess seams, and the skirt gathered at the waist to fall over the hips. As with all my garments, this dress has in-seam pockets!

This Limoeiro’s fabric is beautifully soft and lightweight 100% cotton lawn, with a ditsy floral print in navy, pink and white. This dress can be made in other fabrics too, please send me a message if you'd like it made in any of my other fabrics.

Skirt length is around 70cm from waist to hem, the skirt is designed to sit on or just below the knee. The skirt can be made longer or shorter - please feel free to get in touch.

The Limoeiro is designed to be close fitting and flattering on top, the bodice sits on the waist and the skirt is gathered and falls freely over the hips. Made from cotton, it isn't stretchy, but I do try and make all my garments a comfortable fit.

I immediately fell in love with this beautiful ditsy floral fabric. It's soft, light and so comfortable to wear. With its dark colours, I thought it ideal for both summer and autumn, and is a bit different from the typical "girly" floral prints that are around. Thanks to the long heatwave this year, I was getting so hot with my shoulders covered! I therefore wanted something light and airy, modest, and comfortable - I thought back on some old dresses I used to have, and came up with this Limoeiro dress' design. The elasticated back and fitted bust bodice were two things I'd never tried before, but I had a brilliant time learning about contouring techniques and incorporating them into this pattern!
