. I wanted to experiment with "pot melts" Pot melts are where you get lots of pieces of coloured glass and place them into a plant pot which is supported by bricks inside the kiln. The kiln is turned on and raised to a very high temperature and held at that temperature for an hour or until all the glass has melted and flowed out of the hole in the bottom of the pot and onto the kiln shelf to form a disc. The effects are random and unpredictable. This particular one was made just using one hole in the pot causing the glass to spiral as it flows out.
Due to the weight the postage is a little bit higher.
