Moulded over a globe mould, I used many cut out small flowers stuck together to achieve this effect, after drying it was bisque fired . I decided that I wanted to achieve a depth of colour so oxide was used before applying a deep plumb glaze in the centre. On the outside I have used a mat glaze with speckles. Another glaze was added on the edge which reacted with all other glazes used on the piece.

I wanted to create something that was glossy and busy on the inside with and outside that was bumpy a little rough and mat on the out. Like breaking open a rock and finding a crystal. the last thing added was the foot ring, so I was able to add it a little off centre giving this moulded bowls a very unique look. This is one of many small, medium and large. Varying in colours and interiors.
