Here is a beautiful handmade card that features a stunning filigree butterfly. Created as an 8" by 8" square, this bespoke card is perfect to give to that very special someone in your life.

I have created this birthday card with 220gsm coconut white card, which on some layers I have coloured in a blue colour with an ink pad and a round blending tool.

All of the main elements are beautiful die cuts

The central design has been adhered to the layer with 3d foam tape, which gives the card a little dimension.

The finishing touches include white glitter, pearls and some blue hearts in the corners.

Everything is adhered is a strong, long lasting wet glue.

I have left the inside of this handcrafted card blank so you can your own message.

This greeting card will come with an envelope.

I will post this card in a cello bag, wrapped in tissue paper and in a card backed envelope.

This card came about by simply being drawn to the need of making something. I didn't know what I was going to make, but I started with the matt and layers and went from there. But this card wasn't created within a day. I stopped at the end of day one and allowed the card to sit for a day or two while I thought what I was going to do with it next.
