Cecil the Grizzly Pup.
Needle felted long haired doggy/bear from my Wonky Wonders Collection.
Half dog, half grizzly bear making him a magical mystery.

Handcrafted using sharp pointed needles , continuously stabbing natural core wool until the shape is formed.

Strands of Merino natural wool are added in small sections to leave the long haired effect. Six shades of brown and white are blended in to get a beautiful realistic fur coat.

A lot of time , patience and love was spent making the doggy/bear who is now ready to be rehomed and receive more love and care.

A wire armature is inside the dog to make it more stable.

Plastic eyes and nose on the face so not suitable for children or pets.

This is an ornamental display piece and stands at approximately

10in high

I started needle felting at the beginning of the year and got hooked on this wonderful craft.
I enjoy making one of a kind ornamental, soft sculptures with as much detail as possible.
Each item is made from scratch with natural core wool and stabbed into shape with fine sharp needles.
I use natural wool from various breeds of sheep as the top coat . Corriedale and Bergschaf are my favourites but love experimenting with all varieties of sheeps wool.
At lot of time and patience is put into my work , with a few stabbed finger ends along the way.
I hope you love my crafts as much as I do.
