I found this 1918 blacksmith forge in the back of an old barn and thought it needed a new lease of life.

I cleaned it up the metal, the leather bellows and wooden top in the bellows. Once cleaned I polished it all using beeswax, even the metal, to keep the rustic appearance of the metal and leather.

After I had sorted out the forge I created a table top insert out of some 200 year old pine roof beams.

This is a one off piece with lots of history and I believe would look amazing in any home especially one looking for something a little different and rustic.

For years I've walked around the farm seeing all the old machines and buildings that falling apart but had not had the time to do anything about it, until now where my life has taken a new direction, I know have the time to give all the old machines etc new purpose and hopefully making furniture that well last a lifetime while being a talking point for the home.
