A fantastic french style mug/bowl to serve up your morning tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

And perfect for your homemade soup too.

This mug was thrown on my potter's wheel using a white stoneware clay. I then turned the base, made the handle and attached the handle when the clay was leather hard. It was then fired in the kiln to bisque ware. I then glazed the mug with a lovely blue on the inside, and olive on the rim and the greenie blue glaze on the outside before popping it back into the kiln for a second firing. This time the mug was fired to 1240 C - a stoneware firing. Stoneware is alot tougher than earthenware so with care this mug should last a very long time.

Approx height 7cm, across the rim 12cm.

As all my pieces are handmade studio pieces they will differ slightly.

I sign all my pieces with my initaials REJM to authenticate them.
