'Hare and butterfly' in the garden - a pure merino wool blanket decorated with unique hand embroidery in soft brown and pale pink. Lined with natural calico and finished with a hand-stitched cotton border in a pretty fabric to co-ordinate. Lambs wool and mohair threads have been used to embellish the design with flowers. A little bit of luxury to wrap your new baby in - and then use as a moses or cot blanket. Also, the perfect gift for a new grandchild and one that will be treasured forever.

Personalisation:- I would be happy to personalise with a name or initial/s.

Size:- 102 cm x 72 cm

Materials:- Pure merino wool, calico, mohair, lambs wool, cotton

Hand-washing recommended or wash on a wool wash in the machine and dry naturally before carefully steaming the front and very lightly pressing the back if required - this will ensure the embroidery keeps it's beautiful finish.

The blanket will arrive gift-wrapped in a white/kraft box, lined with tissue and tied with ribbon.

The hare bound around our fields and when unaware of being watched they are a sight to behold. I found this beautiful fabric, which reminded me of seeing them in the springtime, and designed the motif to co-ordinate with it very nicely. The needle felted hare sits amongst the embroidered flowers with the butterfly, stitched in soft colours to make this a perfect nursery blanket.
