A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

A hedgehog, a favourite animal as I have a family in my garden who come in every night for their supper.
This one is named Martha but please feel free to call it whatever you like as it never comes when I call anyway.

It has just enjoyed supper and was surprised as it finished eating when a little silver butterfly landed on the end of its nose and stuck itself there..

This is made with what I call my hedgehog glass. This multi-coloured textured glass looks a bit like a hedgehog's prickles.

The front is shiny iridescent white and I've used a silver heart bead for the eye. The prickles are made from wire.

This would make a super, unique present for anyone and especially for someone who collects hedgehogs. I promise they will not have one of these.

It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the hedgehog.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.

It is approximately 11.5cm x 8cm high.
