Julie Vural
An artist, astronomer, nature lover and co-owner of an outdoor adventure company in Turkey, Julie bases a lot of her lino prints (similar to potato prints but way harder!) on natural patterns occurring in nature. Alongside getting inspiration by observing nature; looking for unusual, hidden, beautiful patterns she also has a great talent for materialising dreams, myths and feelings. She says she really loves the graphic feel given by lino-cuts, reducing the sometimes overwhelmingly busy visual world to simple lines and forms.
