Mini Ogre crochet pattern

This is a pattern only (it is not a finished product).

This pattern is written in UK crochet terms and designed in the amigurumi style, worked in a continuous spiral. Very clear pattern with photographs.

Skill level: Intermediate (or advanced beginner with experience in amigurumi).
Size: 18cm tall when using a 3.5mm hook & aran weight yarn.

To make this ogre you will need:
Aran weight (worsted) yarn. Yarn used in this pattern is Paris drops. (Pattern lists 3 colourway options).
A pair of safety eyes (16.5mm approx).
3.5mm (US E/4) crochet hook.
Polyester toy filling.
Stitch markers.
Embroidery needle.

WELCOME to Make Me Roar. I am in the process of updating my Folksy shop with all my amigurumi patterns.

I've spent many years making socks monsters and it was time to create something new. I love to crochet so thought a crocheted monster would be my first attempt at designing my own pattern. It actually turned out looking like an ogre, and here it is. This is the first of many designs I am working, including mini ogres big brother.
