They have been lovingly hand stamped and then a special stamping enamel ink has been carefully applied and then cleaned up. Some then have a light texture applied with a very fine metal sandpaper or steel wool.

The spoons are safe to use each day and can be and washed in the sink (they are not really suitable for the dishwasher as this can be a bit too abrasive on the enamel ink)

This spoon has the wording "Thank you for being my teacher" lovingly hand stamped upon it.

Each spoon will be sent in it's own gift box to ensure that it arrives with you safely.

As the spoons are individually hand stamped, no two spoons will ever be the same. I would describe them as being perfectly imperfect.

The spoons are true antique pieces ranging from the 1900's through to 1960's, some may even be older. Due to the spoons being antique they may have very minor imperfections but this is what makes each one unique. I have spent months individually sourcing just the right spoons to use in my work.

Each letter is hand stamped, some of the letters in the pieces may not be perfectly aligned but I feel that this adds to the charm and individuality of the work. Please feel free to contact me if you cannot find the right spoon, I'm happy to create custom pieces.
