Item details

This is a blank greetings card, I've hand block printed it on recycled card, using my antique cast-iron press. The design is my own, it is hand carved and then each card is individually hand printed.

The back of the card is also hand block printed, with my own large decorative design as shown, & says 'Ludlow Gothik, hand printed on recycled paper'.

I've used recycled card, a nice thick 280gsm recycled card, which is a grey/brown with a bit of a flek. The card is quite large, at A5 size. The ink is black, Caligo oil based, non-toxic & solvent free.

The envelope is red, 120gsm, with a square flap along the long edge, peel & seal.

Size - A5 (21 x 14.8 cm, which is 8 1/4" x 5 3/4" approx)
Folded on the left side, and blank inside for your own message.

Card will be packed in a clear cello bag.
Postage is in a cardboard mailer envelope, 'large letter' size.

Postage within the UK is first class.
Postage to Europe/USA is Royal Mail International Standard.

This design began as an illustration for the 'Last Battle' which is a C S Lewis book for older children (describing a fantasy world, much like Tolkein). But the prince in the story changed to a princess in my drawing, and her horns just seemed like a good idea... The unicorn is based on a Welsh pony I have here, who is called Snowy River.
