I love to see what lies beneath the bark come inside and see what I mean
Stylish needle holder made from beech wood with some lovely grain figure all around, and the push and twist off lid has a rubber seal to ensure it stays nice and snug. It measures 101mm tall and is 34mm at its widest point, internal depth is 90mm max. After being sanded smooth the box has been finished on the inside and outside with beeswax and buffed to a soft sheen.
I was asked if I could make needle cases/holders but to do so at an economical price and to ensure the lid remains snug this was the solution I came up with and it seems to work very well. This holder would be ideal for sewers to take out to craft fairs or craft classes etc. If you wanted one to take longer needles then please email me and I can look at a custom order.
Buyers also tell me they are a lovely and inexpensive gift for their family sewer.
