This is a really fab fun item, great for a kids bedroom, it gives a lovely warm glow.

The head is a genuine LEGO® storage head then customised into a lamp.

I'm having to use second hand heads due to them being discontinued now by The LEGO Group and private sales for new ones are going for silly money on Ebay Amazon etc. There are a few surface scuffs due to being pre loved but they are in good condition and any marks cannot be seen when the lamp is on. I kind of see it as recycling and giving it a new life : )
Also I recycle as much of the packaging as I can.

It comes included with a soft white LED 470 lumen/5.8 watt 40 watt equivalent large screw edison fitting bulb (E27). The LED gives off hardly any heat (safer for children) and is very energy efficient with an A plus rating. See photo, the lamp had been on for over an hour and it is cool enough to hold.

Only LED bulbs must be used for this lamp due to the design as other bulbs get too hot, the maximum size bulb you can use on this fitting is 60w but as for this lamp it is LED only this link is useful in explaining wattage etc.....................

When I rediscovered the head I decided to make a lamp out of it as we've got the Lego lantern but it runs on batteries and my daughter would leave it on all night. So this was the perfect solution, it uses minimal energy and it doesn't get warm and looks fabulous <3
