This listing is for 100g (approx) of hand spun yarn that has been hand dyed using plants.

The yarn is a 'thick n thin' weight, from dk to Chunky and is single ply.
Made from rare breed 'Llanwenog' fleece.

Hand dyed using avocado, this yarn is two tone. a salmon pink with tones of grey/green.

It has been washed but there may still be some residual of colour in the wash, so please wash this yarn by hand and separately from other items. Do not tumble dry.

Great for weaving, knitting, crochet and other craft projects.

Small batch spun and dyed, there are 4 skeins available.

I love hand spinning local fleeces into yarn, especially rare breeds like this one, Llanwenog. This fleece has been farmed by my neighbour who takes extra special care of her flock. I like knowing where my materials come from, animal welfare is a top priority for me.
Llanwenog is also a small village not too far from me where these rare breed sheep where originally bred.
I have spun the yarn in my studio and then dyed it using avocado using dye techniques to create a two tone effect from one dye pot.
