Inspired by walking in damp Autumn lanes under high trees with copper and gold leaves after rain in the sunshine listening to the birds and watching my dogs search for squirrels. The panels of machine knitted wool in muted green wool reminded me of the damp bark and moss on the trees and went together with the Jacobean floral tapestry to create a really lovely combination that hinted of the trees and wildlife in early Autumn.
