Signed and dated hand-stitched paper patchwork . An original one-off piece, never to be reproduced.
Made from discarded papers I collected while on holiday in Barcelona with my family, and mounted onto a Thomas Lawrence poster (found in the bin at work).
You can find out about the papers used for each of the 91 squares on my blog https://alisonsye.wordpress.com/2017/05/11/Barcelona-patchwork as there is not enough space to tell the story, here.
The actual patchwork is 45cms x 45cms, but there is a 2cms border for your framer to trim as desired.
The recycled nature of the materials I use means there may be some minor blemishes. I consider these part of my work. I have sold over 300 pieces with 100% positive feedback.
£10 from this sale will go to Arts Emergency. This is a small London based charity aiming to ensure university doors are kept open for those most able to benefit from, but least able to pay for education.
In keeping with my eco-friendly ethos, it will arrive in a package made from used magazines and the like. I do not use single-use plastic and parcel tape.
Can be sent as a gift, with words of your choice.
Free UK delivery.
