This funky shoulder bag is both fun to make and useful once completed, plus it's so striking it's sure to turn heads this summer! It's a great project for using up leftover bits of yarn, as you can mix and match to create your own colour combinations. It's also a project that will stretch your crochet skills: the long chain details can be worked up quickly, but the flowers will require some concentration. The pattern includes instructions for lining the bag and creating two handy little inside pockets.

This pattern is suitable for those with advanced crochet skills, or intermediate crocheters looking for a bit of a challenge. Some sewing skills are also required. The instructions use UK crochet terminology, and the stitches you will need to know are: magic ring, chain, double crochet, slip stitch, treble crochet, half treble, double treble, and spike stitch. You will also need to know how to crochet through the front loop only and through the back loop only.
