I love to see what lies beneath the bark come inside and see what I mean
Pen, pencil or artist’s brush holder turned from Sycamore and decorated with a turquoise iridescent finish which shimmers in the light . This chunky version stands 124mm tall and is 95mm in diameter. It is finished with two coats of clear lacquer and the inside has been sanded smooth and then waxed with beeswax. The pens and colouring book are not included. There is a mark on the inside edge (see picture four) which stubbornly refuses to come out and so this is why this pot is offered at £12.50 instead of £14, of course when full of pens the mark will not be seen.
The turquoise iredescence sets off this piece beautifully and makes this a lovely gift for any home office or to keep all those colouring pens/pencils in, in line with the “Mindfulness” trend, which seeks to help ease stress, a subject I have been all too familiar with in the past. I had not realised how long it was since I did this colour combination on a pen pot, which customers have said has been very well received when gifted
