This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A simple flower, a beautiful purple blue pansy.
I've used streaky and textured glass in different shades of blue and purple to make it extra pretty and pansy-like. The leaves are bright green and it has a little yellow glass nugget at the centre which I made in my kiln.
The suncatcher hangs from a chain which is securely attached to the top of the iris which is 10 cm high and 8cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece even when making the same pattern.
It looks beautiful hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light and welcomes in the sunshine.
The 5th photo is of the previous purple pansy I made so you can see each is different though both are to the same design.
A lovely present at any time for someone you love.
To me the pansy is a queen of flowers. The scent from a tub of pansies on a sunny day is wonderful.
Please note : POSTAL CHARGES : . I always part-refund postage via Paypal where more than one piece is ordered to allow for combined postal charge. I do this as soon as I receive your order.
