This stunning vintage wicker chair has been painted in Fusion Mineral Paint and has a two tone painted effect of green/blue, and dark blue.

The edges have been sprayed in gold to keep the traditional element, but then the eyes are instantly drawn to the gorgeous colours of the recovered peacock feather printed fabric seat that shouts to be seen.

Lift off the seat and 'volia' a beautiful red decoupaged Admiral butterfly is resting in the corner in the foliage.

This chair is very comfortable and would look stylish in a bedroom or conservatory or as a nursing chair.

Wanted to replicate the lined effect of the wicker which is reflected in the print of the peacock fabric so that they compliment each other perfectly, making this traditional but modern piece.
This is upcycled as we like to give furniture a chance to be enjoyed again but totally refreshed in a new style.
