Item details

A unique hand stitched gift for a gardener or nature lover, or a lovely addition to a conservatory or living room.

The orange tip butterfly is cut from felt and hand appliqued on to a tartan style fabric. The scientific name Anthocharis Cardamines is embroidered in white thread, giving a modern take on the old specimen displays.

It is displayed in a circular wood effect flexi hoop, with metal hanging loop, and backed with a neutral coloured fabric.

Width 19.5cm/7.5”.

Made in a smoke free, pet free home.

I love watching the butterflies during the spring and summer, and the orange tip is one of the earliest to be flying and also easy to identify.
