Handmade greetings card using a digital print made from a hand felted and embroidered card from merino wool original artwork by textile artist Sally Moore. The image is of Winter sun on golden reedbeds in Ardgay, in the Scottish Highlands.

This handmade card is in A5 format (21cm x 15cm - 8.25" x 6"). The image is printed on high quality paper and window-mounted on white card, and each card is individually titled and signed by the artist. The card is blank inside for your message, has a matching envelope, and is cellophane wrapped. Cards are packaged securely with a board backing to prevent them getting damaged in transit.

While driving down from Kinlochbervie on the North West coast of Scotland to Inverness one winter day, I was struck by the golden glow of sunlight catching the reedbeds at the roadside in Ardgay. Everything was perfect - the golden reeds, the purple loch, the blue sky and the stark, lichen-encrusted tree branches. I paused long enough to take a photo and later tried to capture the scene as a felted and embroidered merino wool textile artwork.
