Clara was the first of my new style mice that I made. She even has embroidery on her collar that changes pattern halfway as I changed my mind as to what looked best. I pondered over changing the collar and restitching it all the same, but I felt it had a charm and a uniqueness so I decided to leave it. Clara wears a striped, cotton dress with embroidered collar. Her little, fluffy, mousey head is kept warm and cosy beneath her light brown bonnet, hand knitted with fine merino wool. Her paws are clad in matching mittens and she has accessorised her outfit with coordinating pom-poms. She carries a school satchel and wears lace-up boots. Clara is 20cms tall and button jointed with antique french buttons purchased in the actual French Ville that inspired the mice. She will arrive gift wrapped in a beautiful white box. Clara is designed to be admired and not played with due to her delicate nature.

Little Clara, the quiet one. You will often find Clara on the fringes of the activity, watching closely and taking everything in. She is sweet and kind hearted, always the first to share her cheese sandwiches. She lives in a tiny apartment with her parents and brothers and sisters above La Librarie Liberale, all of whom are quiet and reserved mice, (apart from Frederique, the youngest, but that's a story for another day!)
