Each chair is handmade to order.The chairs are constructed in 22 millimeter pressure treated timber which is sanded to a smooth finish and then given 3 coats of 'Cuprinol Garden Shades Stain'. This protects the wood while still allowing the beauty of the grain to show through. The chairs are assembled with exterior grade screws which are then capped with wood plugs which are placed cross grain to prevent the wood splitting. The plugs are then trimmed flush with the surface making all the screws invisible and prolonging the life of the screw. This gives the chair a cleaner look while also protecting the hardware. All joints and meeting surfaces are also glued with exterior grade glue for added strength and durability.
