Item details

Resin bangle made with six cubes of resin in a lovely bright blue.

Each cube measures 30mm by 30mm by around 10mm deep.

Half the cubes contain skeleton leaves encapsulated within the resin. The other half are dyed with acrylic paint to match the colour of the skeleton leaf in this case a lovely blue.

Fixings and clasps are made from stainless steel.

This bangle measures 30mm wide by around 220mm long.

I have been a dive guide in South East Asia for many years (and still am for half the year) so have seen the devastating impact of disposable and single use plastics on our marine environment first hand. The beaches are full of washed up single use plastic debris and it floats in our oceans causing damage and death to beautiful marine animals.

So, at Northern Ray we are committed to leaving no waste in production. No single use plastics are used, I responsibly source products for manufacturing and and repurpose and reuse items from charity shops and scrap yards in all jewellery. All items come in recycled boxes and old book pages are used for wrapping.

I made one of these in purple and then could not stop.

I have these for sale in pink, blue, purple and pink.

I have also made up some in a lovely bright yellow and a mixture of a range of colours.

These can be made to order in a colour of your choice, it takes about 6 days to make and 2 days to post as there are quite a few stages to make these. If you want a bespoke one please message me.
