East Neuk Beach Crafts began in the summer of 2016 in the beautiful fishing town of Anstruther on the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. The beaches in this areas are teeming with beautiful treasures, worn smooth by the sea, in particular it’s a great spot for sea glass and antique beach pottery, small shards of broken pottery that have been tumbled in the sea. Some of these pieces have been dated back over 100 years.
Whether on driftwood or in frames, the main focus is creating cheerful little coastal and seaside scenarios, adding seagulls, whales, colourful little cottages, lighthouses, dolphins, seals and our best-sellers, the puffins. Due to the nature of beach-combing, every item created is entirely unique, using the natural materials offered up by the sea.
