Made from sycamore then face is painted with gold ,silver and metalic black acrylic paint left to dry then the bowl is turned off centre then the whole thing is clear polished reverse side has some ripple which enhances the piece.

I have been turning for a long time and this piece is the start of my journey into using colours there will be more to follow .Turned from a piece of sycamore sourced from northumberland and painted to represent a star burst.
