I love to see what lies inside the wood come inside and see what I mean. Now making Christmas stock !!!!
Stunning bowl turned from beautifully figured horse chestnut (conker wood) , measuring 177mm in diameter and standing 40mm tall. The 9mm rim is decorated with a beautiful, green and gold iridescent finish which glistens in the light and has been given two coats of clear lacquer. After being sanded smooth the bowl has been finished with beeswax and buffed to a shine.
The bowl’s smooth and sleek shape serves to set off the beautiful, jewel-like green and gold finish on the rim, and the bowl would enhance any setting. This piece would be ideal as a new home or house warming gift or as a 5th anniversary keepsake.
