Item details
Each ceramic button is an original unique creation completely hand worked by me. After shaping, texturing and air drying, the buttons are slowly fired at a temperature of around 1000 degrees Celsius and let to cool down overnight. The designs are then hand painted with coloured underglazes, followed by a coating in clear glaze. The glazed buttons are let to dry for a day or so, and finally fired once more to a higher temperature for a stunning finish.
