I discovered the art of origami following a trip to France. I source my paper from all over the globe and am fascinated by the wonderful colours and patterns available.
I started my origami business at the beginning of this year and have achieved lots of sales for wedding venues. The lanterns look delightful in church where the general lighting is low and the floral patterns are a great substitute for real flowers which are both expensive and short-lived. The lanterns can be taken home or distributed to guests as momentos of the day.
Not just for weddings, these pretty lights add a romantic touch to any room or garden. They are not waterproof so only use outdoors on dry days.
Excellent idea for baby showers as I do baby pink and blue designs also.
For the more contemporary taste I do a range of jazzy patterns and larger lanterns of the Day of the Dead.
