This pretty cushion has been embellished by hand in stitch and with glass beads.

The satin is lovely to the touch and the striking illustration is beautiful and the light catches the fabric - lush.

This is a one off unique item created using sublimation print techniques from an ink fashion illustration of a fabulous female striding out in her stunning white dress.

The cushion measures 26cm by 18cm.

The cushion is not a commercial item, it is part of an explorative art process any perceived imperfections are part of its uniqueness.

Whilst exploring fashion illustration I wished to create an inspiring image of a woman who is authentic and is happy being who she is - the 'be-you-to-the-full' mindset.

Created the artwork in Ink and loved it and wished to see the artwork on a fabric that would play with the light. So I chose satin and by stitching into the design with wadding behind I was able to accentuate the light catching quality of the fabric. I love how the satin feels so attached a second piece of sating to the back. Later adding filling to create the cushion.

This is an explorative work which means that it is a one off.
