Real wood, i.e. natural sleepers are used to make your furniture. This ensures each piece has its own individual charm and appeal. Due to the nature of real wood, the wood can move due to the hot and cold weather and the change of temperature in your home. This adds to the natural character and the uniqueness of the piece you have purchased. Please ensure you are aware of this before ordering.
We Recommend
As with any piece of natural wood, in order to keep its natural beauty, we recommend regular oiling as natural timber will dry in most household environments. Application of oil will refresh your furniture so that it assumes a rich colour and a smooth surface. A care sheet covering care and maintenance of your furniture is provided when you order.
Once Purchased, your item will be ready within 3-4 weeks in busy times, but usually sooner. Remember, each piece is made by hand to your requirements and this does take time to ensure every item is of the highest quality.
You will be kept informed on all progress and of course can contact me with any queries and questions. Please note, in order to keep delivery costs to a minimum, your furniture will be delivered using a pallet delivery service. The item will arrive well packaged and water tight on a pallet. You will need to ensure you are able to carry the item into your house.

Caveman Furniture is a family run business which has been making furniture for over 10 years. Each piece of furnture is made by hand to your requirements and is unique in every way. Every item can be custom made choosing your own choice of finish, making each item individual to you and your home.
We handmake a wide range of wooden furniture, from TV units and coffee tables to outdoor benches. Matching items are available for any piece of furniture you choose - please see pictures below. All items can be made to your requirements and choice of colour.
