A beautiful African Malachite gemstone, stylishly wrapped with antiqued copper wire and attached to an adjustable necklace cord.

The pendant, being fairly small, has a kind of discreet elegance but catches the eye through the lustre of the stone. Perfect everyday wear for both men and women

Malachite is a rare gemstone, mostly originating in Africa. As you can see in this piece, it displays beautiful shades of green in sporadic lace patterns. The stone has been known historically for being used to ward off evil eye and other forms of magic, in modern times it is noted for its strong affiliation with nature

Malachite, for its beauty and calming qualities, is one of my favourite stones so I don't mind paying a little more for the cabs in order to work with the stones that I love and share them with the world. I decided to make this pendant with copper wire, which I then oxidised to maintain a natural, foresty combination of colours.
