Item details

This beautiful tile is hand cut and hand engraved by myself.

I use reclaimed slate tiles and due to the nature of the natural material texture and colour will vary making each piece unique.

The height of this tile is approx. 19cm, the width approx. 21.5cm with two holes for hanging.

I lightly seal each design to protect the engraving whilst keeping the slate as natural as possible - so no shiny varnish.

After a long and very wet, grey winter I was in need of some cheering up.
I started to work on a number of floral tiles thinking of Spring, and started to engrave these on a very rare, sunny weekend in February and enjoyed the sunshine while working on these gorgeous tulips.
