This is a beautiful Art Nouveau design of Cowsip flowers engraved onto reclaimed slate.

I cut and engrave each slate by hand - making each piece unique.

The designs are lightly sealed using an almost invisible sealer - not a glossy varnish - to protect the designs without altering the slate too much.

This is a slightly larger piece, measuring approx. 25.5cm x 15cm.

I have drilled 2 holes into the top of the slate to enable hanging it.

This slate engraving combines two of my favourite subjects - Wildflowers and Art Nouveau!

This is one of several slates I started to engrave on a rare, sunny weekend in February in need of some sunshine after a very wet and grey Winter.
