New Design 'Stay and Glide Peg Bag', designed to be placed on the washing line with a velcro fastening, which allows the peg bag to be slid along the washing line as you hang the clothes.

The velcro secures the peg bag to the washing line so there is no bouncing off the line or dropping to the floor.

There is a circle in the middle to grab your pegs and this has been zig-zag stitched, the velcro parts have been double stitched to make it more durable and secure.

The shape of the design allows ample room for your pegs to be stored. I left my own peg bag out over the winter to test against the wind and weather and it is still hanging securely on the line. Pegs all intact.

The 'Stay and Glide Peg Bag' does not require a hanger inside and is fully machine washable.

The peg bags are made of good quality material in various colours and design patterns including floral and clothes hanging design as shown in photos.

I am proud to have designed this simple, effective and pretty 'Stay and Glide Peg Bag' and to be launching them just in time for Spring and the coming Summer.

An ideal gift, or to just refresh the bag you put out on the line.

Hand made v Factory made - In my view, when things are made in a factory you get accurate consistency in duplicated items which are also flawless and identical, when something is hand made by a person with passion, care and patience, each and every item has its own little uniqueness and character and its own little imperfections just like us humans. I started out to make the traditional peg bag with a hanger inside, but I was experimenting too as I wanted to see if I could take away the need for the hanger. I had previously been using velcro for another craft and thought how sturdy and strong this is and how it could be used to secure the peg bag to the line. I tested out a fold idea where the line would be secured within the fold and would allow the peg bag to glide along the line as required.

With the velcro fold in place and began to experiment with the opening and ended up with a simple circle big enough to get your hand in for the pegs, but small enough to keep the pegs in the bag till you need them.

I was pleased with my first drafts and gave them to my friends as Christmas gifts. They were all very happy with the peg bags and they continue to serve them well.

I found some pretty patterned material with a clothes hanger print and thought this would make a pretty and appropriate peg bag.
