In 2015 I was fortunate enough to spend three weeks traveling in Ladakh and the Himalayas. The scenery in this part of India is out of this world and the people are so welcoming.
This photo was taken in the upper Suru valley on the way to the Pensi La pass that leads into the Zanskar valley. In autumn the scenery, colours and scents of the upper Suru valley are magnificent. This is one of my favorite pictures and when I see this image I can still smell the fragrant herbs and fresh air of this beautiful Himalayan valley.
