A fun blanket for any pram or cot. Using Aran-weight cotton yarns, this blanket works so well with the muted, washed-out denim feel of colours. Not quite the American flag, but inspired by it, this cute (and quite weighty) blanket measures 36x30 inches.

I have wanted to do a stars and stripes blanket for ages, but not a typical copy of the American flag. I found this yarn locally and loved the sort of washed out look to the colours and worked up some ideas around it. In the end, I just went with repeats of the stars, and after trying out different star colours, my eye was always drawn back to this.
