Item details

A stunning soft baby/cot blanket crocheted in pure wool. Using a floral pattern, this blanket has been crocheted as separate flowers and joined together at points, giving the blanket a supple and textural open feel. Using a yellow merino wool for the flower centres, a slate grey/olive merino for the petals, and highlighted and joined with a soft green/turquoise wool. It measures 30x44 inches.

I love the African flower crochet design and finding new colour combinations fills me with joy. I may go out on a limb with my choice of colours for baby blankets, but sometimes I look out my studio window and see colours that nature thinks works together, so I follow her lead!
