This is a flat felt sheet measuring 26cm x 55cm.
Made using 100% shetland wool from our own flock.

Due to the handmade nature the felt retains a slightly dimpled texture and slightly wavy edges.

There are two colours used to make the pattern . Darker brown from Nessa and fawn brown from Flora two of our lovely girls.

This sheet would be perfect to use as a stand alone piece on a sideboard or table or cut to create a new product of your own choosing.

All handmade felt is best washed gently by hand in warm soapy water then rinsed and reshaped to dry naturally.

I love using the wool to create pattern using wet felting . Laying out raw wool and taking it through the process of wet felting to see how it ultimately reveals itself according to my starting point is always very exciting. Its like a partnership creation..not strictly under my control ..an organic process to honor the wool producers themselves.
