Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible.
A 7cm square dish, twice fired in my kiln, first to fuse all the glass together, 2nd to slump it over a little mould to make a deep little dish.
This little dish is on a base of rich cranberry pink glass with clear glass on top and is bordered by a very pretty dichroic glass with aqua and purple tints. In the centre I've trapped a metallic heart which has formed a raised bubble in the base of the dish giving it an interesting and very tactile feel..
The dish has a lovely texture, matt on top and shiny underneath as for a change I 'cook' these heart dishes upside down before turning over to slump it into the mould.
A really super little dish, very tactile. Perfect to hold your rings, earrings or it can just be a pretty ornament on your table.
Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.
The dish measures 7 cm square and is 2.5cm deep..
It will be sent smothered in bubble wrap in my rather innovative (takeaway) packaging which can be used as a gift box and also keeps it very safe for postage.
This will make a lovely present for yourself of for someone you love and is guaranteed to be totally unique.
I have a fusing kiln, I have glass, I have an addiction to making beautiful glass pieces.
I hope you like what I have made.
This will make a lovely gift
