So this dress was inspired by a lovely vintage mother of pearl buckle found in a local antique shop. I have coordinated it with some vintage ivory buttons and a pearlised ivory fabric for the collar.
The fabric of the dress is a medium weight pure wool in a rich black. The dress pattern I used was a 1960’s McCall’s double breasted sleek fitting dress.
It has raglan sleeves, side zip, wide shawl collar, darts to fit to the waist, a waist seam, darted skirt with a split at the back. The belt is 1.5” wide and sits on the waist seam.
The pattern says size 10 but that is a vintage size 10, please check measurements. I am able to do small alterations before sending out if requested.
