These are wheel thrown in speckled white Stoneware clay. The interior and top band are glazed with shiny Tin white glaze, and the lower part of the outside is glazed in shiny Bright Orange glaze. A band of bare clay is between the two areas, to show the material they are made from, and to accentuate the contrasts in textures. My Potters stamp appears on the base, plus N16 the Postcode where they are made. They are 6.5 cm high. The top is 8 cm across, and the base is 7.5 cm across.
This is another variation of smaller cups I have made with Espresso in mind, each item is a one off and unique.
