This pen has been manufactured by me in my small home workshop , The process is very delicate and great care is taken in each step. Below I have outlined the full steps from start to finish:

1. Bicycle playing card selected (in this case the card is from the Tragic Royalty Poker Deck).
2. The card is cut and trimmed to fit around a small brass tube.
3. The card is carefully glued to the brass tube and over sealed.
4. Tube and card assembly is placed in a resin mould.
5. Clear Cast Resin is measured and mixed and poured over the card assembly.
6. After setting time the cast pen block is removed from the mould and squared off.
7. Block is now rough and finish turned on my lathe.
8. Now the sanding can begin from fine to ultra fine grit.
9. Finished with multiple passes of friction polish until the resin is crystal clear and the card is fully visible and slightly magnified by the resin.
10. Pen components are pressed together to complete.

As i said it takes a very careful process to achieve but the finished effect is stunning.
