Deal is on the South East coast and is very lucky to still have working fishing boats. These fisherman take their boats out daily bringing back their catch of the day. This catch is often for sale at the seafront and supply the local restaurants. This history of seafaring in Deal which goes back hundreds of years was the inspiration for this beautiful mosaic.
